The new cast member albeit only a temporary thing is Jessica De Gouw who is set to play the Huntress, another well-liked DC character. The particular version of the Huntress being portrayed is apparently to be Helena Bertinelli – who debuted in the comics in 1989. De Gouw is set to play The Huntress for a multi episode story arc as a potential love interest for.

The official character description that has been released is as follows;
“Helena is a potential love interest for Oliver Queen; a fellow vigilante, set on destroying her father’s organised Crime Empire. But Helena’s blind pursuit of revenge will put her on a collision course with the Arrow”

The premise of The Arrow is a new reinvention of the well loved DC character. Olive Queen returns home after being stranded on far-flung island for half a decade. Upon his return home he embarks on a war on crime utilising his new set of lethal skills.
