Last night was the highly anticipated mid season finale for the ABC Family hit show Pretty Little Liars. Hit may just be an understatement, apart from dealing up a whole lot of drama the show broke new ground last night and became the Most Social tv series episode in history according to SocialGuide.com
On Twitter it was counted that 709,000 tweets with an average of 36,000 per minute, an all day total of 1.9 million tweets. Generating 1.6 million comments across Facebook and the ABC website and scored a cool 1.2 million viewers.
The show is in its third season and continues to deliver amazing stories and drama week after week. Continued ratings, social media presence and racier storylines as the girls get older are enough to maintain interest in this dramaedy.
